Simon Boulind

[ENG] Simon Boulind, AKA Better Late, has been active on the global DJ circuit for over 25 years. He taught himself how to DJ after his friend’s brothers took him to illegal raves in London, and secured his first residency at Billie Jeans in Epping Forest playing funky house music. He went on to win the DJ of the year competition at the 1500 capacity Atlantis Club aged 19, and from there played at EGG, The Aquarium, The Warehouse, Fluid, Ministry of Sound, Pacha and more, as well as the Disco Hustlers Stage at Notting Hill Carnival. 

In the late ‘00s he toured the Brazilian club and festival circuit, before moving to Barcelona in 2013. There he plays house, techno and progressive house/techno sets in clubs and warehouses all over the city as well as festivals across Europe, all while producing monthly beach party Funk It! which champions funky house music. In 2019 Simon launched On Tempo DJ Academy to teach people of all ages the art of DJing, and with a packed schedule of gigs in Barcelona and beyond, Simon stays true to his mission: progressing house music culture around the world.
